iOS Wallet/Passbook 的用处

之前在中国就经常听到 Passbook 没用的论调，好像在中国是挺没用的。今天跟美国同学聊天说到 iOS 8.3 beta Passbook 界面变化结果被问 “You are actually using Passbook?”，我才认识到原来不了解 Passbook 用处的大有人在。上几个 slideshow 说说我熟悉的使用姿势。

交通

登机牌

OT: aka 登機證（想起在 W Taipei 的时候想打印登机牌然后人家听不懂，反而听懂了 boarding pass）
在支持手机登机牌的航点，用 Passbook 大概是最方便的了吧：离线存储但可连线更新、根据地理位置或时间提示在锁屏上，等等……因此，全球航空公司都在逐渐加入 Passbook 支持。

  • AA 的设计十分精美。
  • US 从星盟跳到寰宇之后原来写 Star Alliance 的位置换成间距极大的 oneworld 真是瞎眼。
  • 国泰航空的设计还是很干净的，但是还在使用旧 logo 不应该。
  • 后来还是换 logo 了。
  • 港龙是国泰子公司。
  • 日航的 pass 一个寰宇一家的 reference 都没出现也是醉。
  • 国航的配色略瞎。
  • 全日空。虽然不喜欢星盟，但是星盟的标识规范真是不错。
  • 符合阿拉斯加航空一贯色调。

其他 Pass

航空会员卡主要用来记卡号。此外还有 Amtrak。

Hospitality

相对登机牌来说，酒店的各类 pass 似乎用处相对小。但是用来记住房间号、给司机报地址时还是十分有用的。

喜达屋

喜达屋集团在 Hospitality 业界一直站着科技前沿，前段时间更推出 SPG Keyless。

会员卡

会员卡 pass 除了记卡号和 track 积分之外用处不大。

喜达屋的 stay pass 设计十分用心，入住前显示酒店地址和入住日期时常，入住过程中右上角会显示房间号，入住后会鼓励提供评价。

相比起来，IHG 的我都不想说什么了。此外还有 Hilton。

星巴克

单说星巴克是因为星巴克大概是最早成功推广单一公司移动储值卡的吧。Passbook 推出之后，Starbucks Card 不再需要打开 app 使用。我唯一的问题是：中国大陆什么时候引进？

商户

很多商户也利用 Passbook 提供电子会员卡、NFC 会员卡积分及兑换、优惠券等等。

  • 于可口可乐售货机支付时会自动通过 NFC 传输 MCR 会员信息，可以获得交易积分或使用积分兑换饮料。
  • Target Cartwheel 挺有意思的，在 app 里选优惠券，然后结账的时候扫条码，还有成就系统。
  • Ralphs pass 比较搞笑：Passbook 并不原生支持一维码，于是 Ralphs 把条码生成图片放在上面了……遗憾的是自助结账机器扫不出来屏幕上的条码，需要工作人员用手持协助设备扫描。

变更你的 iTunes Store 帐户所属国家

今天看到某核 retweet 的一位台湾的 Twitter 用户大呼原来 Apple ID 切换国家如此简单，我可以说小声说乃们 naïve 了么（

之前为了这个事情特意有去问过 iTunes Support 于是写 blog 科普一下吧…… （好吧我承认我是看到 Wxzbb 那么勤奋的更新 blog 深感惭愧来翻译人家的答复凑数的

英文原文来自 iTunes Support 给我的邮件答复，中文是我自己乱翻译的……抱歉我不使用中文系统和中国区 Apple ID 很久了……

其实变更本身确实不难
点此展开步骤

1) First, make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes. It’s available free of charge:

1) 确保你使用的是最新版本的 iTunes

2) Click the following link to open iTunes and access the Apple Account Information page:

2) 使用以上链接打开 iTunes 并进入 Apple 帐户信息页

3) Enter your iTunes Store account name and password, then click Account Info.

3) 输入你的 iTunes Store 用户名和密码，然后点击帐户信息

4) On the Apple Account Information page, click Change Country.

4) 在 Apple 帐户信息页，点击变更国家

5) Enter the updated information and save your changes.

5) 输入新信息并保存更改

听着简单吧……但是有很多东西要注意：

1) If you have any store credit, you will need to use the credit before you can change countries in your account.

1) 如果你的帐户还有余额，你需要在变更国家之前把余额用完（据说最后剩下一点可以发邮件自愿放弃，他们可以给清掉

2) You will need to download all purchased content before changing countries. In addition, rented items must be past their 30 day expiration in order to change countries. For more information on rentals, please visit:

2) 你需要在变更国家之前下载所有购买的内容。除此之外，租赁的项目必须过了30天有效期才可以变更国家。更多有关租赁的信息请访问以上链接。

3) You will be asked to provide a payment method, such as a credit card or debit card associated with a valid billing address in the new country. An iTunes Store Gift Card issued in the new country is also an acceptable payment method. You will not be able to change your account’s country without providing one of these methods of payment.

3) 你会被要求提供一种支付方式，例如有效账单地址位于新国家的信用卡或者借记卡。新国家销售的 iTunes Store Gift Card 也是可接受的支付方式。如果你无法提供以上任意一种支付方式你将无法变更帐户所属国家。

4) Content purchased from the iTunes Store is country-specific. If you wish to upgrade any of your iTunes Store content to iTunes Plus, you’ll need to do so before you change the country associated with your account. The content you purchased while your account was set to the previous country will not be eligible for upgrade once you have changed countries.

4) iTunes Store 上购买的内容是国家限定的。如果你希望升级你的iTunes Store 内容到 iTunes Plus，你需要在变更帐户所属国家之前这样做。一旦你变更所属国家，你在帐户属于原国家的内容将不再符合升级条件。（当年 Store 里面的音乐是 128 kbps 带 DRM 的，升级到 256 kbps 无 DRM 的版本叫 iTunes Plus，这件事应该跟大多数人无关吧……我开始买音乐的时候早就已经是 Plus 了……真的跟你有关请看这个：http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1711

5) When you change countries, you will no longer receive app update notifications on your iOS device or in iTunes for the apps you purchased in your original country. However, you will still be able to download those applications again for free if they are present on your new country’s store (even if they are updated). You will not be charged and the download will not appear on your Purchased page. If the app is not available in your new country, you will not be able to download it again for free.

5) 当你变更国家后，你将不会再于 iOS 设备及 iTunes 收到你在原国家购买的 app 之更新通知。然而，如果这些应用也在新国家的 Store 上架，你仍然可以重新免费下载这些应用（即使它们更新过）。你不会被收费，这些下载不会出现在你的已购买页中。如果某个 app 在新国家不提供，你将无法再次免费下载。（按照我的理解，遇上 EA 这种喜欢不同国家分开上架 app的公司，你就悲剧了

 

读完了你还想变更国家玩么……？我觉得，还是乖乖地 keep 多帐户更靠谱……希望这篇对乃们有用（
